It’s Volunteers’ Week , a chance to recognise and celebrate the amazing contribution that volunteers’ make to both society as a whole and our local communities. Across Herefordshire volunteers’ play a vital role in understanding and meeting local needs, supporting many of the services we rely on in the community.
Volunteers Week offers the perfect moment to say a big thank you to all of the amazing people who volunteer across Herefordshire and in our Talk Community hubs .

Carers’ Week and beyond – a month of raising awareness and celebrating communities
June has become a month where many communities are celebrated and many important issues are brought to the fore, as a wealth of awareness days and weeks are scattered throughout the month. Keep your eyes peeled on our website and social media for more information about some of the awareness days, including loneliness awareness week, diabetes awareness week, refugee week and learning disability awareness week to name just a few!
