Herefordshire Council “Making Buses Easy” Programme.
An update on Herefordshire Council’s new “Making Buses Easy” programme, which they’re delivering in partnership with oomph, a research and customer experience company, to improve bus services across the county.
Herefordshire Council, together with oomph are running a 3-year programme using focused 14-week “test and learn” projects on one specific route at a time, learning what works before scaling improvements county-wide. The first project (Test and Learn 1) ran on Route 461 (Kington to Hereford) from January 2025. We have now completed the campaign audit and boost, thank you for your help on this. We are now distributing survey promo posters. We attach; a social media poster, a A4 printable poster and the campaign survey distribution instructions which include links to the survey. If you have the capacity to share this within your networks, it would be hugely appreciated.
As part of these projects, we’ll be distributing surveys and campaign materials in communities along bus routes to understand local views and encourage residents to use bus services for different journey purposes.
